Behaviour & DramaUnity is a very well respected guild on Splitpaw and we expect you to honour that and uphold to your best. If you are caught / seen doing the following things this could result in guild removal / demotion.
- Causing Drama in Public Channels
- Kill Stealing
- Exploits
- Training Mobs onto fellow community players
- Attacking members of the community
- Causing Drama on Public Forums
- Arguing on Public Channels
- Swearing on Public Channels
Every Member in Unity is a adult and we expect you to sort out any issues you have to sort between yourself and cause no unneeded drama.
PrivacyWhat happens in the guild, stays in the guild. If any channel names, passwords, strategies etc are shared with anyone outside the guild, it will have serious consequences (99.9% of the time, Kick).
RaidingWe have specific channels used during raids. We use /officer to command the raid force, and everyone is expected to have it configured in a place where its possible to see at any time. There's no excuse for not being able to follow the commands of the raid leader. /Raid is used for macros mainly and/or the commands from the MT. This channel is to be kept clean, no chit chat of any kind, use /gu or /g for that. If raid leader hasn't told a person to click something, nothing is being clicked. Do NOT question the raid leader, when you raid, you will die. If anyone has an idea for a strategy on a raid, start a thread on the correct forum and lets get some ideas flowing.
If you need to go afk during a raid, announce that you're going afk, put on your afk tag and put autofollow on someone in your group. There are scheduled breaks on all raids, usually every hour and an halfish, depending on if its appropriate.
On every raid, a Main Assist will be announced. This person is to be assisted at all times unless something else has been said. Everyone that has to assist, has to have a macro saying
/assist Name_Of_Announced_MA. It is NOT accepted just to target the MA and nuke away.
ContestedIf a contested mob is up, and an officer calls a raid, you have to drop what you're doing and head to where it's been said.
AttendanceThere's a minimum attendance of 60% required. If a member gets below 60% attendance, he/she will be demoted to Cheerleader Rank and will only be promoted to member again once the attendance is over 60 %. If the members attendance keeps falling and gets below 50% the member is further demoted to Guild Reserve. As a guild reserve you can be kicked at any time without further explanation depending on if the leadership still deem you useful to the guild or not.
If a member is unable to raid, he/she is required to post an afk notice on our forums, BEFORE the afk. The timing of the afk messages are a big part of the decision to accept a lower attendance, for a short while, or not.
If you cant make it to a raid (late or not at all) it is needed to post an AFK message on our forum. Missing AFK posts will be charged with 5 ELP.
ELP (aka DKP)A log will be taken when the raid starts. Everyone in the raid at this time will receive double DKPs (Intime Bonus). From here on, a log will be taken every hour while we're raiding, which gives 1 DKP (2 DKP for Contested). When the raid is over, an endlog will be taken, which gives 1 bonus point for staying till the end. The points earned on a raid, cannot be used on an item at the same raid.
Before every raid, make sure you know how many points you have. Overbidding will NOT be accepted in any way, and will result in a very big warning, if this repeats within short time, there'll be consequences.
If several of the same item drops, bids will be done for all items, until there's the same amount of bidders as items available.
Priority for bidding is as follows: Member > Cheerleader > Recruit > Guild Reserve > Twink (see Twink Loot Rules)
Twink Loot Rules1. you may only bid if no member, cheerleader or recruit wants the item.
2. You have to be of rank cheerleader or higher to loot for your twink.
3. the twink has to be at the zone in of the current raid zone (exceptions possible).
4. the minimum bid on items for twinks is 5 DKP.
5. Your twink must be lvl 75+
Priority between twinks during raid: Twink 80 in Unity GH with banner Access or at ZI > Twink of lvl 80 > Twink lvl 75-79.
Priority between twinks at the end of the raid: Twink of lvl 80 (your problem how you get to zonein) > Twink lvl 75-79.
Twink Mythical UpdatesTo get your twinks mythical updates you need to be of rank cheerleader or higher.
Always DeclineIf the loot options hasn't been set to leader only by mistake, you are always clicking decline all.
Full Raid / Sitting outIf the raid is full, and you're sitting out while still available. You will have to send the one taking the logs a tell, everytime a log is taken (See ELP (aka DKP) for further information). It will always be announced when a log is taken in our custom raid channel for alts and in /officer. If you do not, within reasonable amount of time, send a tell, you will not be added to the log as available, therefore no points will be awarded. If a member
is not in the raid at logtime, and the raid is in an instance where access is required to enter, and this quest is reasonably simple, the member will not receive any points for sitting out. In other words, No access = No Sitting out bonus. Instance to use as an example would be "Xux'Laio's roost" wouldn't give a point where "Antechamber of Fate" would.
The raid leader, can ask a specific member to sit out on any given raid and time if the spot is needed for someone else.
Bonus ELPThere can be a bonus awarded on selected occations if it is found reasonable. Good example for this, would be World First, Server First, Guild First kills.
Guild BankAs mentioned earlier, we have a guild bank which is used alot. The guild bank can/will help to purchase raid crucial masters, ask officers before buying. If a member wants help from the guild to purchase a master, the member has to have added a master need list on the forums. If the spell is not listed there, guild bank will not help. Masters dropped in raids will be awarded to members of the class immediatly without cost of dkp or platinum. If more than 1 full member is in need of the same master it will be /randomed between them and the next time the situation comes up the master will be given to the person that lost on the prior /random.
Main Change RulesIf the main change proposed does not improve or have the potential to improve the Guild and Raid setup, the change will be denied.
The leadership will discuss every main change request individually.
AdornmentsMembers can buy adornment components from Guild Bank for DKP,
but they may not be resold or given to any other than the Main Character.
Joining our ranksIf you are interested in joining our ranks, fill an application on our forums and we'll get back to you when it's been discussed. No worries, we will contact you in due time, asking several times will not be a positive thing. When you've joined the guild, you will be a recruit for atleast 30 days (trial will be extended if you had a period you couldnt raid). You will be able to bid on loot but not able to outbid members for this period.
A hidden thread will be opened during your trial where members will post good and bad opinions about you. At the end of your trial the officers will have a discussion about your membership and take the final decision.
----------
In very rare cases, exceptions to these rules can be made by officers, if these exceptions benefit the guild.
Rules will be updated when/if needed. So make sure you check it now and then.
